Leading Edge Technology

High technology products for the permanent removal of
odours from all types of rooms, buildings and vehicles. Ideal
for portable cleaning by contractors. These innovative products
generate high levels of ozone to oxidise and neutralise odours.
(They also kill microbes, by using ozone, and remove airborne
dust and purify the air, by using ions).
Model PD1 is ideal for small areas such as hotel/motel rooms,
with an output of 350mg/hr of oxidant.
Model PD2 is designed for larger application and continues
to prove itself in numerous applications. It comes with
2,000mg/hr oxidant output.

How Ozone and Ions Work

Ozone is an extremely strong oxidant which permanently removes odours by a process of oxidation. The clean fresh smell evident after a lightning storm is ozone. Its oxidation strength
is 50% greater than that of chlorine. Ozone removes airborne
odours but also permeates fabrics and carpets and therefore
removes surface odours. Ozone is made electrically from oxygen.
When it has done its job, the ozone reverts back to oxygen,
leaving no chemical residue. Ozone is generated electrically
from air, so no chemical handling or consumables are required.

The Advantage of Ions with Ozone

Ozone and Ions are very effective when generated together.
Unfortunately, cheap products make only one or the other.
(This is like buying an air conditioner which treats humidity
but not temperature). A recent international study has shown
that "ozone and ions" are four times more effective at air
purification than either one of these on its own.
Ions are made from oxygen and air. They are charged particles
which bond to airborne dust. The dust particles are attracted to
each other, becoming heavier and falling to the floor. Negative
ions also help to restore nature's ion balance (by increasing the
level of air ions to that found in fresh country air). Therefore,
a combination ozone/ion system will:
• Deodorise odours (better than ozone can alone)
• Kill microbes (better than ozone can alone)
• Remove airborne dust and smoke particles
• Restore nature's ion balance which, for example, makes
hotel rooms feel like they are filled with fresh country
air.

PD1 Deodoriser 350mg/hr

Model PD1 is ideal for air deodorisation applications. Sim-
ply plug in and begin using it. The PD1includes an internal
compressor which draws air into the product, creates the
ozone and advanced oxidants and then delivers those oxi-
dants back to the air. The product includes a carry handle
for portable use and a mounting flange with two holes, to
enable it to be fastened to the wall or other structure. It
comes complete with 1 metre of silicon air delivery hose,
diffuser ball and an aussie electric plug.
The PD1 uses "state of the art" technology for creating
ozone. What this means is that the PD1 achieves all the
benefits of conventional ozone generators but is more ef-
ficient by creating more purification effect when using the
same electrical power, or it creates the same disinfection
effect but uses less power.
The PD1 is innovative and unique. For example: the fully
potted design, the high ratio of purification power to electri-
cal power, the corona AOG technology (advanced oxidation
generation), and the in-built compressor.
The potted design means that the PD1 is a genuine "set and
forget" product. No maintenance issues. No need for ser-
vicing. No need for spare parts. No after sales issues.
The PD1 is a reliable long life product. It has a life of
10,000 hours (MTBF), compared to only 500 hours, for
common ozone plate generators. The PD1 is double electri-
cally insulated.

Instruments

The EZ2 comprises two dishes and
growth liquid. Use it to indicate
airborne microbe levels before and after
ozone treatment.

The EZ1 is a cost effective way to
measure ozone levels. The treated strips
give a colour change indication after
10 minutes.

The EZ4 i s a handheld electronic ozone monitor. It includes LED display and battery charger.

PD2 Deodoriser 1000mg/hr

The PD2 is for air deodorisation applications in larger rooms
and spaces. It includes all of the features of the smaller PD1,
plus much more:
- Combination ozone and ions and hydroxyl radical, with total
oxidant output of 1000mg/hr.
- Internal air compressor with inlet filter.
- Silicon tube and air diffuser ball.
- Patented plasma ozone emitters.
- Can join multiple units together for large systems.
