Ozone Industrial Vacuum Cleaners. Innovation
in pollution control!
In creating this outstanding range of Industrial Vacuum
Cleaners, Ozone has established an impressive new
benchmark in pollution control. These technologically
advanced cleaners offer a number of distinct advantages
over conventional products.
Single phase, continuous duty motors and multi-stage
turbines, rated for 100,000 hours. Practical, safe and
reliable.
Massive 10m2 high efficiency filters - five times greater
than an average industrial cleaner. The in-built Vibro
Cleaner provides excellent filter cleaning and
guarantees long filter life.
Remarkably versatile, Ozone Vacuum Cleaners can also
be used for power tool dust extraction and even welding
fume extraction. The unique inlet spigot allows a variety
of Kits to be easily connected.
Ozone Vacuum Kits include a 5 metre lightweight,
highly flexible vacuum hose. Importantly, the hose
is carbon impregnated, providing excellent static
protection.
The popular model ID7 is remarkably compact. Genuinely
industrial, the motor is fully contained within the dual
laminate seamless case. Designed with the operator in mind,
the Cleaner features non-marking swivel castor wheels with
brakes, soft grip handles, and a rubber lined
Models IB7 and IW7
For model IB7, the drawer is replaced by an 80 litre bin. This
bin is fitted with wheels and is simply locked on to the Cleaner
by a geared lifting mechanism. A window allows the operator
to check when the bin needs emptying.
The photo below shows the IB7 being used with the floor
Sweeping Kit. The Kit simply fastens to the Cleaner wheels.
Model IW7 is suitable for wet and dry vacuuming. The special polymer filter is water resistant. An electronic float sensor automatically turns the Cleaner off at a pre-set level.
Materials Handling Model IB8
Model IH7 is usually wall mounted and is designed for
centralised vacuuming or pneumatic conveying systems
with multiple inlet points. The bin is replaced by a 120 litre
hopper with sliding gate valve which is periodically emptied
into a waste container such as the Ozone Separator Drum.
The electrical switch can be detached and relocated at a
convenient place in the work area. A more powerful turbine
extractor is available for large systems.
Model IB8 is perfect for large-scale mobile vacuuming.
Used with a large diameter, 100mm or 150mm Vacuum Kit,
high volumes of pollutant are rapidly vacuumed away. The
large 80 litre dust holding capacity can be further increased
through the use of a Separator Kit (see photo next page).
Vacuum Kits include a gulper nozzle with ridged rubber skirt,
to maintain air flow even when vacuuming large volumes.
Kits
Ozone Vacuum Cleaners will
also extract dust from power
tools. Ozone has a large range
of add-on Manifold Kits for
power tools which do not
normally have integral dust
extraction ports.
On-gun welding fume
extraction is possible through
various branded fume extraction
welding guns, or by the Ozone
Pilot Gun. This unique Kit can
be retrofitted to any standard
MIG gun.
Ozone hose is lightweight and
very flexible. Being carbon
impregnated it has much higher
static protection than hoses with
internal earth wires. Unlike
coated hoses, its conductivity
remains high over its lifetime.
In addition to the four Vacuum Kits featured on the previous
pages, Ozone can supply various Kits for airborne dust and
fume extraction. KM100 features a magnetic inlet nozzle and
2.5 metres of high
temperature 100mm
hose. It is commonly
used for welding fume
and grinding dust

alternative model,
KT100, is held in place
by a suction nozzle.
Applications
Ozone products are shown in blue. All necessary connections are included with the products so they
simply bolt together. The "words" in each box fully describe the set of Ozone products to be ordered
for a complete system. See Accessories section for codes.
A wide range of inlet Kits is available. Simply choose from the
table (up to the recommended flow of the Cleaner).
Use left hand/bottom axes for ID7, IB7, IW7, IH7. Use right hand/top axes for IB8.
Curves show static pressure at Cleaner inlet. Set equal to static pressure of upstream
system (system losses + velocity pressure at inlet). Tested with clean filters, ducted inlet
(IB8 200mm diam, other models 100mm), diffuse outlet, standard Cleaner at end of
system (AMCA or BS type C).
