High technology Ozone Systems for the treatment of water and other liquids, for medium to large scale applications:

• Removing waterborne micro-organisms (bacteria, viruses, protozoa, fungi, algae).

Ozone is now used by over 3,000 municipal water authorities. It is a mandatory requirement in all Olympic swimming pools. It was approved by the USA FDA for use in the food industry (GRAS status) in 1997 and for bottled water in 1982. It is approved as a food processing aid in Australia, Japan, the EEC and the USA.

Ozone really is an ideal oxidant. It is generated as a gas and then dissolved into water. It is a strong oxidant - for example, compared to Chlorine it is 1.5 times stronger and kills cellular microbes 3,000 times faster. Yet it generally leaves no chemical residue and it reverts back to oxygen. It requires no consumables as it is generated on-site electrically.

A large number of components and modules are carefully designed, balanced, pre-connected (electrics, pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanics), tested, and combined into one single skid-mounted plant.

Ozone Water Treatment Systems are complete and integrated plants. Ozone takes the "hassle" and complexity out of your project - everything is sized, connected and tested for you. Just connect electricity, air and water. Each system comprises:

Ozone Water Treatment systems are rich with great features, some of them truly unique, including:

• Plasma ozone emitter to generate high concentrations (up to 14%) and outputs from 50 to 8,000 g/hour.
• Sophisticated touch pad controls with PCB logic. This allows various automatic running modes, feedback signals from Controllers, adjustment of voltages and flow rates, and much more.
• Internal sensors provide signals to monitor performance, with a "self help" diagnostic menu for "on line" maintenance.
• Integrated cooling system, filtered air and water jacket.

Oztec Service

Ozone provides extensive documentation to assist customers (and Distributors). Customers can fill out a "Fact Finder" document to help size up the job. Ozone can then generate a Sizing Report by reference to Oztec - a computer database which records our extensive experience and research with large scale water treatment. We can also generate Component Lists and Layout Drawings as required. The products themselves include extensive Instruction Manuals.

Whilst the final choice is always the customer's responsibility we assist wherever asked - with the System and with Service. We always recommend that customers trial a small unit first, to prove the application and then "scale up". We can assist by hiring these small trial units also.

Ozone Generator Module

High ozone concentrations combined with stable output:

Water Pump Module

These "ozone resistant" pumps feature all stainless steel impellers and volutes and special seals. The motors are aluminium and rated for 100,000 hours. The pumps integrate with the venturi characteristics.

Compressor Set Accessories

Ozone Systems WS9-50 and WS9-100 include their own integral compressor sets. The larger systems require either existing factory compressed air, or one of Ozone's Compressor Set Accessories. They include:

- refrigerated dryer
- rotary screw compressor
- air receiver tank
- filters, separators, coalescers
- alarms, drains, sensors, etc

Destructor Accessories

These Accessories can remove ozone from air when it vents from a sealed contact tank. They feature catalyst media with a heater regenerative circuit. The EZ61 handles 12 l/min gas flow and the EZ62 up to 120 l/min.

Oxygenator Module

Our Oxygenators utilise the PSA (pressure swing adsorption) method. They feature two molecular sieves in pressure vessels, and a third oxygen accumulator tank. It is controlled by a PLC.

Venturi Kit Module

Ozone Venturi Kits are precisely designed, and include:

- Venturi injector nozzle, ozone resistant.
- Ball valve, ozone resistant.
- Main flow and bypass pipe work.
- Transparent viewing window.
- Fittings and connections.
- Check valve.

Controller Accessories

A large range of Controllers is available for measuring ozone concentrations in the gas phase or liquid phase.

Manual "wet chemistry" sets are available for cost effective measurements (EW1) whilst sophisticated electronic controllers send signals to control the Ozone System (EW8).
